The Switch Lite is the New Flagship Portable Gaming Device

Switch Lite is coming soon and it will be a lot smaller in size. Nintendo had revealed that the new Switch is designed as a cheaper version of the original tablet. With a more bargaining price, you can enjoy an improved handheld gaming experience. The Lite will be out on Sept 20, alongside The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. It will be available in three different colours: Turquoise, Grey and Yellow. Moreover, a Pokemon limited edition console bundle will also be an option but this will be launching in November with the game Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Size is Perfect for a Handheld System

Nintendo has improved the size and weight of the Switch Lite. The Lite features a 5.5-inch display but still keeps the 720 pixels resolution so you are not losing any picture quality. On top of that, the Lite is 0.27 pounds lighter, which makes a huge difference when comparing to the bulkier old Switch. The smaller size device will be more portable and feels more comfortable to hold onto which is more suitable for playing games on the go.

Better Experience for Gamers

The Switch Lite offers a longer battery life, 3-7 hours depending on the game you are playing. Also, the four directional buttons on the left had been replaced by a D-Pad, which feels more responsive for gameplay. The two minor changes provide new handheld experience.

Furthermore, the Lite can act as a secondary device for current Switch owner to play on the go. Nintendo had confirmed that the saved data can be transferred between Switch and Lite for this purpose. Switch Lite will be a good option for those who prefer handheld gaming.

Budget Device for Everyone

With a huge price-cut from the original one, Switch Lite is much more affordable for budget players. The Lite can support most of the Switch games while it lowers the price barrier. With its affordability and portability, you will find Switch Lite a good value of money if you are looking for a new gaming device, or simply the best present for kids and children.
